The Office for Community Affairs within the Office of the Prime Minister continues to help families in need


With donations from the Office for Community Affairs the construction of a house in the village of Plemetina, in the municipality of Obiliq/ Obilić, was successfully completed.

Srdjan Popović, the director of the Office for Community Affairs, handed over the key of the newly constructed house to the Tripković family and stated that the Office would continue to provide aid to families in need of it.

“I am very pleased that we succeeded in meeting your needs and that you are satisfied. We are aware that there are numerous families who are in need of our help, and we will try to aid them as best as we can with the resources we have,” said Mr. Popovic while speaking with the Tripković family.

Dalibor Jevtić, the Minister for Communities and Return, and the mayor of the municipality of Obiliq/Obilić, Mehmet Krasniqi also participated at the ceremonial handing over of the keys and congratulated the Tripković on their new home.

Mr. Jevtić used the opportunity to state that his ministry would try to aid the family in furnishing the house.
