On 17 December, organized by the OSCE and Educational Center "Don Bosco" was held a round table to discuss lessons learned and implemented projects related to education and employment of community members who are in disadvantaged position (Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian).

After the opening remarks from Director of Don Bosco Center and OSCE representatives, training certificates for successfully completed in the administration and processing of fruits and vegetables were given to training participants, which took place during 2013.

In this roundtable participated the representatives of central and local administration, employment agency, civil society and international organizations dealing with vocational training and employment.

Office of Community Affairs emphasized that this office is very committed to the issue of improving employment policies of non-majority communities and the research was conducted which showed insufficient representation of non-majority communities in institutions and public enterprises. Especially, more attention should be given to the need for employment of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities.
Also, it was emphasized that in order to integrate the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities, the Office has had a project in cooperation with OSCE / ODIHR, which  offered the opportunity to six young professionals from the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian community to perform 5 months internship in public institutions of Kosovo.

In the roundtable participated Sanela Sadiković and Sonja Skarep.
